My Story


From apps to cities, games to hospitals, how great projects come to life generally follows the same patterns.

I’ve built a career out of designing and building. Each product, job, or hobby is the product of the lessons learned along the way from past work. I go all in on everything I do and I bring a diverse set of experiences that can lead to more creative yet performant solutions.









Hi, I’m Sean



Early adopter, technologist and designer highly invested in making the built environment better with better tools, data, and research. 





In 2023 I joined   Outer Labs as a Product Strategist helping identify and validate new business opportunities for the AEC tech start-up.









I also started   Waterworks Games and published Alpenglow, a ski resort board game that raised over $100k in crowdfunding, with 3 new titles coming in 2025.











From 2022 to 2023, I guided go-to-market strategy and lead product design at   Modumate for an integrated end-to-end user experience. We grew growth by 600% in my first 6 months and launched a product marketplace as a new company revenue stream.

From 2020 to 2022, I was the Technical Design Manager at    New Avenue Homes and designed new features connecting home builders, designers and owners for a positive home construction experience.

From 2011 to 2018, I created and supported  Camper, a home-grown summer camp registration platform that processed thousands of participants and millions in payments for camps across the west.

Created a new front door to a network of summer camps 







From 2016-2020, I was a project architect at    ZGF Architects and consolidated hundreds of high performance tools and resources into a single easy to access repository and open-sourced it for other firms.

In 2014, Wojciech Magda and I founded   Beagle Score, a business site selection data aggregator and winner of Colorado’s GoCode Hackathon.

In 2004, I founded   Zilifone Design and lead design and development as our team launched over 300 websites, apps, brands, and IT projects for clients across the western United States and southern France over 14 years.
